Important person in dentistry

Hello! today's blog is about an importan person on my field and I choose Germán Valenzuela Basterrica.

He was a doctor and dentist who on returning to Chile in 1889 after obtaining his dentistry degree at the Dental School of Paris, was appointed Director and Professor of the existing School in Chile.
He was part of the resolution of the "Crimen of Becker" 'cause he performed the dental exams on the corpse burned that allowed to solve the mysterious police case that put in risk the bilateral relations between Chile and Germany, it was possible to clean the image of an innocent man and gave himself to the Justice to the true guilty. Then the goverment offered him a reward and he answered that he wanted a new school of odontology.
I choose him because I think that is amazing what he did first solving the crime and then being so generous when he founded the faculty because any other person could have choose another reward but he prefers something to odontology of the country.

Biological bases

Hi everyone! today I will talk about what has been my favorite subject at this semester and it is Biological basis for health promotion, prevention and education better know as Biological bases. It was been a hard decision because I love almost all subjects! but well I have to chooose one of them  (sorry skills and anatomy).


This subject have theoretical classes and also practical activities in which we see microphotographs and it is so cool! I have never missed one of the classes 'cause I like being there I found it so interesting.
We start the semester studying some basic things like biomolecules, replication of DNA, transcription, the cell, etc. At school I always love that kind of things that's why I was at elective biologist. After we ended that contents we start with histology and there we enter to a new and  amazing world! before entering to university I had no idea of what histology was but now I'm so happy of study it! I belive that is incredible that we can see the tissues of the organs, the cells and identify some structures with the optical microscope.

My favorite picture

Hi everyone! Today I'm gonna talk about my favorite picture.
Well this photo were taken the last year on my school graduation that was in Espacio Riesco.

I love this picture because I'm with the persons that I love the most  and it were a wonderful night. In the picture appears my mom and dad who always stay for me when I need them to help me on school (  my dad helped me with maths cause it was difficult to me) or just hear how much stress I'm ( all the time!) I also love it because it makes remind that  amazing day ( I always wait for it 'cause I just wanna get out of  school!) that shows the end of a long way and it was the last time in what I could share with some of my school mates ( I miss some of they but we can't see now).
